1、 How to deal with valve leakage
Industrial valves: It is not the valve itself that leaks, a sealing ring is added at the connection, and the valve itself leaks, requiring the manufacturer to repair it. Household valve: There is water leakage at the connection with the pipeline, and there are many non drying tapes wrapped around the connection. The valve itself is leaking. Disassemble the valve and add a sealing ring inside. If it doesn't work, replace it.
2、 How to install valves
Valve installation begins by cutting the pipeline vertically, trimming and removing burrs, and measuring the pipe diameter. Use gauze or wire brush to clean the pipes and cutting areas, making the metal surface shiny and shiny. It is recommended not to use steel wool.
1. Apply solder flux on the outside of the pipeline and inside the welding cover. The solder flux must completely cover the welding surface and be used in a controlled manner.
2. Ensure that the valve is in the open position. Heat the pipeline first. Transfer as much heat as possible from the pipeline to the valve. Avoid prolonging the heating time of the valve itself.
3. Silver brazing method: Assemble the components that need to be brazed. If the parts coated with solder are allowed to stand upright, the moisture in the solder will evaporate, and the dry solder will easily peel off, causing the exposed metal surface to be easily oxidized.
4. When connecting and assembling, the pipeline should be inserted into the sleeve until it encounters obstruction. Assembly requires ensuring stable support to maintain a straight position throughout the entire brazing process.
